:: Compliance Equals Safety :::
Caring for you lenses properly greatly increases the safety of your contact lens wear.

Always wash your hands before handling your contact lenses.

You should change your contact lenses at the prescribed intervals.  Also, you should replace your lens case every two to three months.

Each day, you should rinse your lens case with water, and leave the case open to air dry.  Never reuse lens solution.  "Topping Off" you lens case by adding a small amount of lens solution to the solution that is already in your case is one of the most dangerous things you can do.

By following these simple steps, you can greatly decrease the chance that your will have a problem with your contact lens wear.  If you have any questions regarding your lens wear, please ask Dr. Newman.  He will be happy to answer your questions.
